Thinking out aloud about Fashion!

I cannot believe it! I have my own blog to talk about nothing but fashion. Well, that is my intention. This is so exciting! I am not sure where to begin because I am sure others are far more advanced in blogging and twittering would know exactly where to begin, so it is nothing new to them but for someone who is not quite computer-savvy, then it is a big deal.

I know it must be boring to hear so many people who absolutely "adore fashion" or "fashion is my passion" and then start to cry to secure that vote; the explosion of reality TV programmes have paved the way for that! But, for me "fashion is my passion!" (No tears) Right, unlike most young beeny-boppers who are so sure of themselves nowadays in terms of what they want to do with their lives, it was slightly different in my time (which wasn't too long ago if anyone is wondering.) It has taken me a long time to discover what interests me the most and then to take action, which I have done and doing.

I think the best place to start is my own personal style and fashions I like. Unfortunately, I am not that confident to wear "whatever I like" because I feel like it, but I do have my own ideals about what women should wear. You are probably thinking what happened to the "why?" I don't quite have an answer for that; I just know. I am sorry if the men feel left out but I am not an expert on men's fashions! And if I were to go by how my boyfriend has dressed over years, I will never know. You have to admit that the female form is far more interesting and intriguing than the male form.

Back to my original point about my personal style and fashions (whoever decides to follow my blog you have to get used to me moving from on issue to another. I talk so much that I loose my trail of thought like a politician.) I am very big on dressing for your shape, wearing clothes which compliment your figure to the maximum, and in some instances, creating illusions. I think that is what I enjoy the most about fashion; creating the illusion that you have something, when you don't or it is not to your satisfaction. There is so much fun involved with experimentation.

Back to me again, I have small hips and my bottom is just none existent! So I love volume! I love big skirts! I love skirts with alot of material in them that would create the illusion that I have big hips and in turn a big bottom. From viewing the Fashion related TV programmes like Gok Wan's "How To Look Good Naked" Trinny and Susannah "What Not To Wear," who have all become house hold names for emphasising that, which it something I had the painful and expensive journey of discovering by myself about what looks good on me and what doesn't. I am also a fan of fashions that don't quite look right and for that reason it does! It is very difficult to put into words but that is the best way of explaining it.

I cannot stress enough the importance of footwear. That is my speciality! Heels, Heels, and more Heels. They will transform any look. I swear by it. It does not necessarily mean that you have to wear 10 inch heels but just anything that elevates you will, no matter how small will make a difference. If you can, the higher the better. As once said,"It is the price [you] pay for vanity." I am so looking forward to the H&M/Choo on the 14th November, I have already decided which pair of shoes I want. I will be at war if I do not get the pair I have seen. I am not stupid! I am not going to describe them in anyway so you will just have to wait and hear. If you haven't picked up on it, but I am a fan of Jimmy Choo (not that I own a pair) but I am in love with Christian Louboutin. His footwear is like a Wispa bar! Ssshh! (not that I own a pair of those either! lol)

How do you end your blog? I just reviewed my first note and it is soo long. Even I would get bored at reading all of it and I haven't even shared everything I wanted to. Ok, I will be back! I am off to find a pair of shoe-boots I saw in yesterday's News of the Worlds "Fabulous Magazine" because they are fabulocious!! Only when I find them will I share how they make me feel. See ya!
